One-to-one at home care
A well established and highly respected independent UK home care provider, Home Instead Senior Care is part of a worldwide organisation devoted to providing the highest-quality care for older people in the comfort of their own homes. We offer a wide range of one-to-one services tailor made to the needs of the individual - and home visits can be from an hour a day up to 24 -7 care that includes weekends and holidays. We help our clients to build lasting and meaningful relationships with their CAREGivers by aiming to provide them with the same CAREGiver for each visit. The trust and bond that develops between them, ensures that their highly personalised care plan is consistently and reliably delivered. To alleviate the uncertainty that may arise when inviting an unfamiliar person into your home, our Care Manager briefs and introduces each CAREGiver to clients prior to the service commencing. To help monitor and amend the care being delivered, we provide adetailed Care Plan which is discussed and regularly reviewed with clients and/or their relatives. Our Care Manager matches the client with a CAREGiver to ensure that both are able to start forging a meaningful relationship from the outset. We provide 24 hour care to privately funded clients as well as to those whose care costs are supported by Adult Social Services with personal budgets or direct payments.
Home Care Services
Many of our at-home clients receive Home Instead Care as a result of a direct approach to us by their families, but we also have strong links with medical practices, social agencies and charities, which utilise our comprehensive services or recommend them to their clients.
Alzheimer's and Dementia Care
There are 750,000 people with dementia in the UK. By 2021 there will be over 940,000 people living with dementia and this will soar to 1.7 million by 2050. One in three people over 65 will die with dementia. More than 60 per cent of all care home residents, aged over 65, have a form of dementia. There are over 16,000 people under 65 with dementia in the UK. These are not just statistics; they represent millions of families with loved ones who require special care, both at home and in nursing homes. If you are struggling to care for a loved one with dementia it is important to remember you are not alone. Almost 2,000 families like yours have trusted Home Instead Senior Care to provide one-on-one home care for loved ones with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.
Helping seniors stay safely at home
The growing incidents of scams involving older people is putting many seniors at risk, threatening to strip them of their assets, their independence and their trust. Our aim is to raise awareness of the risks facing older people so that we can do everything we can to prevent these distressing and devastating crimes. That’s why the Home Instead Senior Care network has launched its Senior Fraud Protection public education programme and created a Senior Fraud Protection Toolkit to help you and your loved ones keep safe.
